Tea drinking is a special ritual with both personal and social significance.

  • Brewing water used is soft, preferably filtered.
  • Boiled water is boiled only once, not more.
  • For one cup of drink, use one teaspoon of dry matter.
  • The teapot is treated with boiling water before use.
  • Tea is brewed for three to five minutes.

The taste of black Ceylon tea is tart, bright, its color is traditionally dark red or copper-brown.

 

You can drink this tea in pure form or add sugar to it. Also, many people drink Ceylon black tea with lemon or milk.
